# ThenObserve vs Covennt

The clearest difference is update cadence: Covennt at every 3 days against ThenObserve's every 2 weeks. ThenObserve's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ThenObserve sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month and Covennt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ThenObserve ships an update every 2 weeks, Covennt every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
