# Intermittent vs Nomu

Intermittent and Nomu both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Nomu's written reviews are positive against 50% of Intermittent's. Nomu also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (97 vs 9). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Intermittent sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Nomu sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Intermittent holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nomu has 97 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Intermittent's written reviews are positive against 86% of Nomu's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Intermittent ships an update every 4 days, Nomu every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
