# SubPulse vs Score Drummer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Score Drummer at every 3 weeks against SubPulse's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SubPulse sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year and Score Drummer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SubPulse ships an update every 3 months, Score Drummer every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
