# Fastly vs Window

The clearest difference is monetization model: Window at free against Fastly's free with in-app purchases. Window also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Fastly's advantage is ratings volume (92 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fastly sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Window sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Window holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fastly has 92 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of Fastly's written reviews are positive against 100% of Window's.

Fastly ships an update every 10 days, Window every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
