# Fastly vs FocusedFasting

The clearest difference is monetization model: FocusedFasting at free against Fastly's free with in-app purchases. FocusedFasting also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Fastly's advantage is ratings volume (92 vs 8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fastly sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and FocusedFasting sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusedFasting holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fastly has 92 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of Fastly's written reviews are positive against 100% of FocusedFasting's.

Fastly ships an update every 10 days, FocusedFasting weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
