# Fastly vs Fasting Tracker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fasting Tracker at none against Fastly's 4. Fastly's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (96 vs 13). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fastly sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Fasting Tracker asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Fastly against 4.9 for Fasting Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fastly has 96 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of Fastly's written reviews are positive against 100% of Fasting Tracker's.

Fastly ships an update every 10 days, Fasting Tracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
