# DramaNow vs FanWeb

The clearest difference is rating: FanWeb at 5.0 against DramaNow's 3.1. FanWeb also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). DramaNow's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DramaNow sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. FanWeb asks for nothing beyond the download.

FanWeb holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DramaNow has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DramaNow ships an update every 9 days, FanWeb every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
