# LunoVPN vs Anke VPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: Anke VPN at daily against LunoVPN's every 4 weeks. Anke VPN also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (4 vs 2). LunoVPN's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%) and ratings volume (11 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LunoVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Anke VPN sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anke VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of LunoVPN's written reviews are positive against 89% of Anke VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LunoVPN ships an update every 4 weeks, Anke VPN daily. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
