# VideoGen vs VideoExp

The clearest difference is rating: VideoExp at 3.5 against VideoGen's 3.0. VideoGen's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VideoGen sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and VideoExp sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VideoGen ships an update monthly, VideoExp every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
