# VideoGen vs VidFlex

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VideoGen at 60% against VidFlex's 0%. VideoGen also leads on chart position (#184 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). VidFlex's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VideoGen sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and VidFlex sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VidFlex holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 18 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of VideoGen's written reviews are positive against 0% of VidFlex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VideoGen ships an update monthly, VidFlex every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
