# Galactic Journey vs EngClass

The clearest difference is update cadence: EngClass at every 3 days against Galactic Journey's every 6 weeks. EngClass also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Galactic Journey sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EngClass sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Galactic Journey ships an update every 6 weeks, EngClass every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
