# Step Lynx Activity Tracker vs StepQuest

The clearest difference is ads: Step Lynx Activity Tracker at none against StepQuest's shown. StepQuest's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step Lynx Activity Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StepQuest sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
