Building your own cabinets? CabbyCut turns three measurements into a detailed set of build plans. Pick a base, wall or tall cabinet, enter the overall width, height and depth in inches or millimeters, and choose a door, 1 to 8 drawers, or a drawer over a door. CabbyCut works out every part, lays out every sheet of plywood and writes the build steps, from checking your plywood to hanging the cabinet on the wall. WHAT YOU ENTER • Cabinet type: base, wall or tall • Width, height and depth, in inches (fractions like 34 1/2 are fine) or millimeters • Door, drawers (and how many), or drawer + door • Back thickness: 1/4", 1/2" or 3/4" • Toe-kick base on or off (base and tall cabinets) • Or start from a preset: base cabinet, drawer over doors, sink base, vanity, wall cabinet or pantry WHAT YOU GET • Front view drawing of the finished cabinet with its overall dimensions • Cut list: every part lettered A, B, C…, with its size, material, grain direction, edge banding and pocket-hole count • Share Plan Picture: one clean image of the cabinet, its size and its cut list, to text or post • Build steps: start to finish, with check-off circles and a picture for each drawer step, including table-saw fence settings for the drawer bottom dado • Sheet layouts: each 4×8 sheet of plywood drawn out, with rip-then-crosscut steps and blade kerf allowed for • Shop mode: one cut at a time in big type at the saw, highlighted on the sheet • Part drawings: every part drawn to scale with its pocket holes and layout marks for shelves, drawer slides and hinges • 3D build pictures: the cabinet pulled apart, plus a picture for each main step with the new parts in color • Shopping list: plywood sheets, pocket screws, hinges or slides sized to fit, pulls, brads, edge banding and glue, plus a tools list and a cost estimate from your own prices • My Project: plan a whole kitchen. Cabinets share sheets, so you often buy less plywood, and you get one cut list and one shopping list • Print or share as PDF, drawings included, or as plain text FREE AND PRO The front view, cut list, build steps and plan picture are free for every cabinet you plan, including drawer + door cabinets. CabbyCut Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It adds My Project with iCloud sync, sheet layouts with shop mode, part drawings, 3D build pictures, the shopping list with cost estimate, and printing and sharing. HOW YOUR CABINET IS BUILT CabbyCut plans a frameless, European-style box of 3/4" plywood joined with glue and pocket screws. There's no face frame, so everything comes out of sheet goods. • Sides run full height; top, bottom and shelves fit between them • Your choice of back: 1/4" nailed on with a hanging rail, 1/2" nailed on, or 3/4" set in and pocket-screwed • Optional 4" toe-kick base, set back 3" • Full-overlay doors and drawer fronts with even reveals and gaps • One door up to 24" wide, a pair above that, on 35 mm concealed hinges • Fixed shelves added automatically in door cabinets • Drawer boxes of 3/4" plywood with a 1/4" bottom in a table-saw dado, on full-extension side-mount slides sized to your depth BUILT FOR THE SHOP • Simple: one screen of inputs, no account, no sign-up • Works offline: everything is calculated on your device • Private: CabbyCut collects no data. Pro's iCloud sync uses your own iCloud account, which only you can see • Works on iPhone and iPad, in English or Spanish Measure twice, plan in seconds, and check every number before you cut. SAFETY CabbyCut is a planning guide, not professional advice. Plans are calculated only from the sizes you enter, so check every measurement before cutting, and cost estimates are only as good as the prices you set. Follow your tools' safety instructions, and screw every cabinet into wall studs; CabbyCut does not calculate how much weight a cabinet or wall can hold. Full safety guidelines, terms of use and privacy policy are on the support page and inside the app.
