# QuickPass vs DMV Ace

The clearest difference is rating: DMV Ace at 5.0 against QuickPass's 4.4. DMV Ace also leads on device support (3 vs 1). QuickPass's advantage is ratings volume (116 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuickPass sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and DMV Ace sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DMV Ace holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuickPass has 116 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

QuickPass ships an update fortnightly, DMV Ace every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
