# Trailmetry vs BB

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trailmetry at every 4 days against BB's every 11 days. Trailmetry also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trailmetry sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and BB sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trailmetry ships an update every 4 days, BB every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
