# NewPractice vs Notivx

The clearest difference is ads: Notivx at none against NewPractice's shown. NewPractice's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NewPractice sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.49 per month and Notivx sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NewPractice ships an update every 3 weeks, Notivx every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
