# Sammells vs OmniGate

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sammells at none against OmniGate's 1. OmniGate's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OmniGate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Sammells asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sammells ships an update every 6 weeks, OmniGate every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
