# Next Routine vs Gainz Quest

The clearest difference is update cadence: Gainz Quest at every 9 days against Next Routine's every 3 weeks. Gainz Quest also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Next Routine sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Gainz Quest sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Next Routine ships an update every 3 weeks, Gainz Quest every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
