# Pattern7 vs Gaydex

The clearest difference is ads: Gaydex at none against Pattern7's shown. Gaydex also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pattern7 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Gaydex sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
