# STAR Interview vs Prepit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prepit at every 5 days against STAR Interview's every 2 months. Prepit also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. STAR Interview sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Prepit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

STAR Interview ships an update every 2 months, Prepit every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
