# Snowbelly vs Riselo

The clearest difference is monetization model: Riselo at freemium against Snowbelly's subscription. Riselo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Snowbelly's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snowbelly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Riselo sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Riselo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snowbelly has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
