# Critical Choice vs Priority Task Manager

The clearest difference is update cadence: Priority Task Manager at every 5 days against Critical Choice's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Critical Choice sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Priority Task Manager sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Critical Choice ships an update fortnightly, Priority Task Manager every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
