# SecureGate VPN vs UnblockMeVPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: UnblockMeVPN at every 4 weeks against SecureGate VPN's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SecureGate VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and UnblockMeVPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SecureGate VPN ships an update every 2 months, UnblockMeVPN every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
