# NerdSip vs BOOKOS

The clearest difference is ratings volume: NerdSip at 119 against BOOKOS's 1. BOOKOS's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NerdSip sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and BOOKOS sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BOOKOS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NerdSip has 119 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NerdSip ships an update weekly, BOOKOS every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
