# Get FitConnect vs Octane

The clearest difference is update cadence: Get FitConnect at every 2 days against Octane's weekly. Get FitConnect also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Get FitConnect sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and Octane sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Get FitConnect ships an update every 2 days, Octane weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
