# WalkSpeak vs ROX

The clearest difference is update cadence: ROX at every 4 days against WalkSpeak's every 9 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WalkSpeak sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ROX sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WalkSpeak ships an update every 9 days, ROX every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
