# Typewriter Pro vs Flippy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Typewriter Pro at none against Flippy's 6. Typewriter Pro also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Flippy's advantage is ratings volume (20 vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flippy sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Typewriter Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Typewriter Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flippy has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
