# michi vs Re

The clearest difference is update cadence: Re at every 6 days against michi's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. michi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Re sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

michi ships an update fortnightly, Re every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
