# michi vs Afterwise

The clearest difference is update cadence: Afterwise at every 4 days against michi's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. michi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Afterwise sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

michi ships an update fortnightly, Afterwise every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
