# michi vs HyoMemo

The clearest difference is ads: michi at none against HyoMemo's shown. HyoMemo's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. michi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and HyoMemo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

michi ships an update fortnightly, HyoMemo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
