# Rowlitics vs RowerTrain

The clearest difference is update cadence: RowerTrain at every 6 days against Rowlitics's every 2 weeks. Rowlitics's advantage is iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rowlitics sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and RowerTrain sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rowlitics ships an update every 2 weeks, RowerTrain every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
