# Mapmediary vs FilmLog

The clearest difference is ads: FilmLog at none against Mapmediary's shown. FilmLog also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). Mapmediary's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mapmediary sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and FilmLog sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
