# FlightLog vs FlightDeck

FlightLog and FlightDeck both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of FlightLog's written reviews are positive against 18% of FlightDeck's. FlightLog also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). FlightDeck's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 10) and chart position (#38 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlightLog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and FlightDeck sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for FlightLog against 4.6 for FlightDeck. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlightDeck has 1.1K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of FlightLog's written reviews are positive against 18% of FlightDeck's.

FlightLog ships an update daily, FlightDeck every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
