# FlightLog vs Logbook

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlightLog at every 2 days against Logbook's every 3 weeks. FlightLog also leads on chart position (#170 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlightLog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Logbook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlightLog ships an update every 2 days, Logbook every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
