# BarPad Mobile vs mdTodo

The clearest difference is update cadence: mdTodo at weekly against BarPad Mobile's every 2 months. BarPad Mobile's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BarPad Mobile sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and mdTodo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BarPad Mobile ships an update every 2 months, mdTodo weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
