# Rytability vs Candor

The clearest difference is monetization model: Rytability at free against Candor's free with in-app purchases. Rytability also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rytability sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Candor sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Rytability against 5.0 for Candor. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rytability has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rytability ships an update every 11 days, Candor every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
