# OnceJournal vs odd

The clearest difference is update cadence: odd at every 4 days against OnceJournal's every 5 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OnceJournal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and odd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OnceJournal ships an update every 5 months, odd every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
