# Walks vs Stride

The clearest difference is ads: Stride at none against Walks's shown. Stride also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Walks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stride sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Walks ships an update every 3 weeks, Stride every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
