# Vens vs Chainward

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vens at every 9 days against Chainward's every 6 weeks. Vens also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vens sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Chainward sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vens ships an update every 9 days, Chainward every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
