# SimpleSSTV vs Club Log

The clearest difference is update cadence: Club Log at every 2 days against SimpleSSTV's monthly. Club Log also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and rating (4.2 vs 4.0). SimpleSSTV's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimpleSSTV sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Club Log sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Club Log holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 5 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of SimpleSSTV's written reviews are positive against 100% of Club Log's.

SimpleSSTV ships an update monthly, Club Log every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
