# Applock vs Flickfly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flickfly at every 5 days against Applock's every 4 months. Flickfly also leads on iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Applock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flickfly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Applock ships an update every 4 months, Flickfly every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
