# SPL Prep vs SnapSolve

The clearest difference is ads: SPL Prep at none against SnapSolve's shown. SnapSolve's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SPL Prep sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and SnapSolve sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SPL Prep ships an update every 3 months, SnapSolve every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
