# VIA GPX vs NomadTracks

The clearest difference is rating: VIA GPX at 5.0 against NomadTracks's 4.4. VIA GPX also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). NomadTracks's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NomadTracks sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. VIA GPX asks for nothing beyond the download.

VIA GPX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NomadTracks has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
