# Countdown Widget vs Soonly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown Widget at every 9 days against Soonly's every 2 months. Soonly's advantage is iOS requirement (16.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Soonly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
