# Dot Log vs Visual reminders + widget

The clearest difference is update cadence: Visual reminders + widget at every 3 days against Dot Log's weekly. Dot Log's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.4). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dot Log sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Visual reminders + widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
