# Testdaf SprechTrainer vs Prüfsim

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prüfsim at every 3 days against Testdaf SprechTrainer's every 3 weeks. Prüfsim also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Testdaf SprechTrainer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Prüfsim sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Testdaf SprechTrainer ships an update every 3 weeks, Prüfsim every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
