# UnTask vs RoadNotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: RoadNotes at every 4 days against UnTask's fortnightly. UnTask's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UnTask sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and RoadNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UnTask ships an update fortnightly, RoadNotes every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
