# Thoth vs Synopsule

The clearest difference is price: Thoth at Free against Synopsule's $1.99. Synopsule's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Thoth is free to download; Synopsule costs $1.99 up front. Thoth sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Synopsule sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thoth ships an update fortnightly, Synopsule every 5 days. Both last shipped on September 28, 2026.
