# PuttView vs Watch The Drive

The clearest difference is rating: PuttView at 3.5 against Watch The Drive's 2.0. PuttView also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 1). Watch The Drive's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PuttView sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Watch The Drive sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PuttView holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PuttView has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PuttView ships an update fortnightly, Watch The Drive every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
