# Scread vs Continuum

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scread at 100% against Continuum's 40%. Scread also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Continuum's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scread sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Continuum sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scread ships an update every 3 weeks, Continuum every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
